2021 Sunflower Chardonnay
Bright, clean, and elegant. Aromatics are consistent with this vineyard from year to year. A bright citrus medley layered on top of fresh ocean air. Sage flowers and honeysuckle bring more liveliness to the nose. On the palate, a beautiful contradiction of freshness and creamy richness coexist. The subtle use of oak remains taut with Meyer lemon acidity that coaxes length to this wine.

We continue to source our Chardonnay from 6 long rows of clones 96 and 76. The season offered exceptional balance in Chardonnays, preserving both freshness and acidity. Hand-picked the second week of October, the fruit was gently pressed before a brief settling, then heading into four french oak barrels to slowly start spontaneous fermentation.
