Introducing Pineau des Amis, an Oregon twist on a French classic 15 years in the making! We have teamed up with our friends at Westward Whiskey to create a limited-edition fortified wine inspired by Pineau de Charentes, blending the finest brandy with our own fresh grape juice. The result? A smooth, layered elixir that you can enjoy as a cozy aperitif or sip on slowly after a great meal.

Aromatics are intense, rich and bright. This unique beverage smells like an array of strawberries, dried apricots, and maraschino cherries were drizzled in honey, caramel and chocolate covered coconut shavings. On the palate, this is a rich elixir. Undeniably sweet, but the brightness from the grapes acidity enliven the mouthfeel. Strawberry jam and date syrup dominate. 

The name itself is a playful twist, swapping the place of origin "Charentes" for "Amis"—which means "friends" in French. This collaboration honors the friendship between Greg, and Westward’s founder Christian Krogstad, who met back in 2004 at the Carlton Winemaker Studio. Together, they dreamed up this project, and over the years, the entire Westward team has been involved, making this project extra special. Special thanks to Westward’s Miles Munroe & Kelly Woodcock, who helped us bring it all to life in recent years.
